right action. She encourages her students to expand awareness
through all layers of self and practice according to their
own energetic feedback systems. Jo teaches a strong vinyasa
flow class with emphasis on breath, heart, balance, and
creativity understanding that on the most fundamental
level, we are the sum of all of our thoughts. The energy
and discipline of her very first teachers; Trevor Tangye
(Australia), Lino Miele (Italy), Pattabhi Jois, Sharath
Rangaswamy and Yogacharya V. Venkatehsa (India) inspired
a commitment to practice. Jo is evermore thankful to her
senior teachers in Los Angeles; Annie Carpenter, Max Strom,

whose insightful teachings she continuously draws upon.

For thousands of years it was taught in secrecy, but through the work of Yogi Bhajan, these teachings have become available to all. Join teacher Lisa J. Coleman on an introductory journey through the history, philosophy and practice of Kundalini Yoga.
