Although I have been blessed with a wonderful life, time has taken a toll on my body over the years. Before I walked in the door of Frank’s studio, I suffered from tightness in my back that just wouldn’t go away. I would lie in bed at night and try to find relief to no avail. I no longer live with that pain. My posture is better and I get stronger with every class.
When I started taking yoga classes at Greenleaf Yoga last fall, I was so excited with the experience that I immediately stated to tell all my friends about this wonderful place. Many of them seemed to have a misconception of what yoga is actually all about. Some thought that yoga was nothing more than sitting cross legged in a circle and meditating for an hour. To be honest, I didn’t know what to expect when I started my practice. Frank took the time to answer all of my questions and provide me with the encouragement to get started. There is a peaceful nonjudgmental environment in Frank’s studio that allows the beginning and advanced students to work together. I can’t emphasize this enough. I’ve heard the same feeling expressed by dozens and dozens of fellow students.
The reality is that Greenleaf Yoga provides a full body workout that strengthens me both physically and mentally. I can say without a doubt that you grow to love this gem in Whittier. If you do decide to take the plunge and try Greenleaf Yoga, it will only be a matter of time before you experience the TOTAL relaxed body after one of their classes. There is nothing like it
